Founded in 1983 March by Yogi Ramaiah, the Babaji Ramalingeswara Kovil is known locally as the Temple of Art and Yoga. 

The Bharatiya Temple Society of Central Ohio promotes awareness, understanding, and practice of the Hindu religion, and works toward improvement of the quality of life of the community. 

The Bharatiya Temple of Lansing was legally established as a non-profit religious organization with the monumental and dedicated efforts of Sudhakar Kulkarni, Prakash Kapoor, and Shrikumar Poddar on January 12, 1982.
